How to Service the Flywheel on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

To work on the flex plate, uninstall the transmission and then remove all the bolts holding the flexplate. When you are placing the flexplate, do so on the crankshaft and tighten the bolts by hand only. Afterward, use a torque wrench to turn the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.), then put the transmission in place.
