The fuel tank skid plate should be serviced by lifting the vehicle and bearing the skid plate. Take away the skid plate bolts, the trailer hitch and tow hooks. To install, place the skid plate, reattach the tow hook and hitch and attach the bolts to 88 N.m (65 ft.lbs.).
