How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for Disc Brakes on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

The first step to working on the parking brake cable of disc brakes is to raise and support the vehicle before locking out the parking brake cable. Open up the brake cable at the equalizer and nut, then take it out from the front cable, equalizer, frame bracket, axle bracket and brake lever. Put the brake cable on the brake lever, then set up the axle bracket, equalizer and the front cable. Next, adjust the brake cable at the equalizer with the nut on it.
