2006 Jeep Wrangler ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before performing service on the Electronic Brake Control Module, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. After inserting the pump into the CAB, pull and release the CAB harness connector and take the pump connector out. Tak out the mounting bolts on the CAB and then remove the CAB from the HDU. First, place the CAB onto the HCU and attach it using the mounting bolts tightened to 2 N.m (16 in. lbs.). Then, plug the pump's electrical end into the CAB, followed by the wiring harness connector, pushing the release button to lock them in place. In the end, put the negative cable back into place on the battery.
