2007 Chrysler Crossfire Clutch Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Clutch Master Cylinder on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: The first thing to do is to take out the lower driver side instrument panel and the illumination control module before servicing or repairing the Clutch Master Cylinder. Don't let brake fluid touch the interior trim or carpet and make sure to wear safety clothes and glasses when handing it, since it can be harmful or hurt your eyes. After that, clamp the master brake cylinder's supply hose with the reservoir and unclamp the supply hose at the clutch master cylinder. Next, remove the pressure line from the clutch master cylinder and seal the line so nothing can leak. Pull out the clutch pedal spring, circlip and remove the retaining nuts. Next, twist the clutch master cylinder to the left and pull it out of the vehicle.
