How to Use a Flywheel Locking Tool for Flex Plate Service and Repair on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?

The first thing to do is take out the transmission and starter to service and fix the flex plate. To secure the flywheel, place Special Tool 9102 Flywheel Locking Tool into the opening on the starter. If you have it, remove the clutch before you send it out. Take out the flywheel bolts and after that, remove the spacer along with the flywheel/flexplate. Check the seal behind the rear crankshaft for any leaks and replace it if need be.
