To work on or repair the heater core, begin with disconnecting the vehicle's negative battery cable, isolating it and then letting the air bag system capacitor to discharge for two minutes. First, take off the HVAC housing and then you can remove the cover's bolts. Always unclip the spring clamps and remove the casing. After that, remove the guide for the heating water flow pipe and the heating water return line. Carefully detach the heater core from the car and remove the heating pipes and then remove the retainer clip to pull the pipes from the heater core.
