How to Service and Repair a Fuel Rail on a 3.8L Engine on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?

To work on or fix the fuel rail on a 3.8L engine, take out the upper intake manifold first. You should next detach the fuel rail, wiring harness and injectors and if the connectors for the injectors are missing labels, be sure to label each connector with its matching cylinder number. Detach the fuel rail from the cylinders by removing its four mounting bolts and next disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail. Gently raise the fuel rail off the cylinder head and, with the rail removed, take off the clips holding the fuel injectors to the fuel rail before lifting the injectors from the rail.
