How to Remove and Replace a Brake Caliper on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before changing out the brake caliper, make sure the car is safely supported and raised. After that, take out the wheel mounting nuts (3) and remove the tire and wheel together. To proceed, loosen the two brake caliper guide pin bolts (4) and take out the brake caliper from the adapter, always using wire or a bungee cord to hang it safely in your way, preventing you from stretching the brake hose (1). Finally, take out the guide pins and boots from the adapter after it's mounted.
