How Is the Knock Sensor Installed on a 2.0/2.4/2.4 TURBO/2.4L SRT-4 on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The knock sensor for these engines is mounted to the side of the cylinder block in the front area, under the intake manifold. Attach the electrical connector to the knock sensor before placing it in the block and securing it with 22 Nm (195 in. lbs.) torque. Under- or over-tightening can change the sensor's reliability and start causing issues with the spark system. Attach the negative battery cable to your car as well.
