How to Maintain and Fix a Mirror Switch on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before service or repair the power mirror switch, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. After that, get the left lower instrument panel bezel off by moving the top of it backward and lowering it so you can detach it using a fast pulling movement. After that, unscrew the two screws holding down the left part of the instrument panel and pull the cover off, sliding it back and away, without disturbing the top and A-pillar pieces. Unplug the power mirror switch wiring connector and pop the end cover out of the vehicle. For the final step, slide the left end cover to your bench and gently press into the tabs of the mirror switch so you can pull it through and off the left end cover.
