How to Service and Repair a Torque Converter on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to service the torque converter, take off the transmission and converter in the vehicle. Install a drain pan at the bottom of the converter enclosure and make sure the transmission is firmly fixed. Take time to push the torque converter forward until it clears the oil pump seal and then detach it off the transmission.
