2007 Chrysler Sebring A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair an A/C Hose on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before servicing or repairing the hose/line, turn off the negative battery cable and release the refrigerant from your air conditioning system. Pull the vehicle up and detach the splash shield that sits on the frame's right side rail. After that, uninstall the nut holding the A/C discharge line to the A/C compressor, separate the A/C discharge line from the compressor and throw out the old O-ring seal and gasket. Apply plugs in or cover with tape the discharge line and compressor port fittings after you open them, then bring the vehicle down to the ground. Pull up on the front part of the fascia to expose the A/C discharge line. With your hand under the front of the radiator, disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C pressure transducer. Separate the nut that holds the A/C discharge line on the right side of the condenser, release it from the condenser and throw away the O-ring and gasket. It's important to use plugs or tape over the discharge line fitting and the condenser port once more. If you cannot access the pressure transducer, pull it out of the A/C discharge line.
