How to Remove and Replace a Shock Absorber on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?

Before undertaking the procedure, check and follow the warning about the rear suspension. You need to pull back the luggage compartment carpet to find and remove the shock assembly's upper mounting nuts. After that, pull out the two nuts that hold the shock assembly to the body bracket. Elevate the vehicle, take out the nuts from the wheel mounting bolts and lift the rear wheel and its tire from the vehicle. Remove the lower control arm cover by taking it off the arm. Following that, take out the lower shock mounting nut and bolt. After that, take out the shock assembly from the lower bracket and lower it above the back side of the vehicle.
