2007 Chrysler Sebring Wheel Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace a Wheel Cylinder on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before you take out and replace the wheel cylinder, follow all the safety instructions. Hold the brake pedal down with a brake pedal holder after it has traveled about one inch, so that the master cylinder is disconnected from the brake hydraulic system, helping to keep brake fluid inside the reservoir. After that, elevate and stabilize the car and take out the wheel mounting nuts and everything attached, including the tire and the wheel. Take out the drum brake shoes by removing them from the support plate. Loosen the brake tube at the wheel cylinder first, then take out the wheel cylinder screws. In the last step, remove the wheel cylinder from the support plate.
