2007 Dodge Caliber Power Steering Reservoir Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Power Steering Reservoir on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: For service and repair of the power steering reservoir, you should first take off the engine appearance cover. After that, remove the fasteners that secure the coolant recovery bottle and set the bottle farther away from the power steering reservoir, ensuring fluid lines are still intact. Move as much of the power steering fluid as you can out of the reservoir. Then, unclamp the hose that is attached to the fluid reservoir fitting and slide the cooler hose off that end. Slide the other hose off the reservoir fitting in the same way as before (by removing its clamp). After that, eliminate the reservoir mounting screw that keeps the reservoir attached and then remove the reservoir. Remove the plastic shield from the reservoir.
