How to Maintain and Fix a Steering Column Cover on 2007 Dodge Caliber?

Before carrying out any work on the steering column cover, tilt the column downward as far as it can go. After that, use a screwdriver to remove the two screws joining the upper to lower shroud, then push your hands along the side seams to uncouple them and remove the upper shroud. Lower the tilt lever, unscrew the connection between the steering column and lower shroud and then pull the shroud away from the car.
