How to Remove the Clock Spring Assembly on 2007 Jeep Compass?

To take off the Clock Spring Assembly, disengage the supplemental restraint system by unplugging the battery negative cable and leaving it being idle, two minutes. Make sure that the steering wheel is locked straight. Lift the steering wheel, the shrouds and multi-function switches and remove the Clock Spring by disconnecting the wire harness connectors.
