How to Remove and Replace a Clock Spring Assembly on 2008 Jeep Compass?

In order to change the Clock Spring assembly, switch-off the SRS by unplugging the battery negative cable and allow two minutes of waiting. Precautions must be taken to ensure that the Clock Spring is pre-centered and Steering wheel is straight. Install Clock Spring, wire harnesses, screw them together and reconnect the steering wheel then reconnect the battery.
