How to Service the Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor in a 2.0/2.4L Engine on 2007 Jeep Compass?

The first step to servicing the heated oxygen sensor for the 2.0/2.4L engine is to take off the negative battery cable. After that, lift the vehicle up and hold it safely. Then, remove the electrical connector from the sensor and take out the sensor electrical harness by unclipping it from its place on the body. Use a crow foot wrench such as Snap-On tool YA8875, to take out the sensor once the rest of the job is complete.
