2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Brake Pad Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace Rear Brake Pads on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: First, support and hold the back of the vehicle, followed by removing the rear wheel and tire before replacing the brake pads. With a clean suction gun, remove just a bit of brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Following this, insert the pistons into the caliper by prying the caliper up and over. Unscrew the four caliper slide pins and lift out the caliper from its anchor. Tie the caliper to a suspension piece with wire and check that the brake hose is not used to hold the caliper. After all the bolts are out, take the inboard and outboard brake pads out of the caliper.
