2007 Jeep Liberty Coil Springs Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Properly Install Coil Springs During a Repair on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: Start by connecting the spring to the shock and putting the spring compressor in place after you've transferred the Insulator, Spring, shock and mount for the repair. After that, install the shock mounting nut and torque the bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft.lbs.). After removing the compression from the spring, take out the shock assembly from the compressor. Remount the wheel and install the shock onto the car for the last part of installation. After that, get rid of the support and safely bring the vehicle down.
