2006 Jeep Liberty Coil Springs Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix Coil Springs in the Front Suspension on 2006 Jeep Liberty?
A: Before you service or repair the front suspension coil spring, support and raise the vehicle, then take out the tire and wheel assembly. After that, withdraw the shock and plug it into a Pearl Service ETA W2119 air elevator. Press the spring down and take out the nut on the shock mount, then release the shock from the compressor. Upload the insulator, spring, shock and mount for removal and installation based on the repair required. The shock goes on the spring and the spring compressor after you have moved the needed parts. Insert the shock mounting nut and screw it in place by turning the bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Loosen the coiled spring, remove the shock assembly and put the shock back into place on the vehicle. Once done, attach the tire and wheel, dismantle the support and bring the car down to the floor.
