2007 Jeep Liberty Wheel Bearing Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Properly Install a Wheel Bearing Assembly on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: First, set the hub/bearing assembly onto the vehicle and tighten it with the three bolts to 96 ft. by hand. For four-wheel drive, secure the axle shaft nut after installation to reach a tightness of 135 Nm (100 ft.lbs.). Attach the bracket for the wire of the wheel speed sensor next and then install the wheel speed sensor on the hub, tightening the bolt to 13.5 Nm (10 ft.lbs.). First, install the disc brake rotor, then put in the disc brake caliper adapter and tighten it to 135 Nm (100 ft.lbs.). In the end, set the tire and wheel onto the assembly.
