  A: Turn off the supplemental restraint system by isolating the black battery cable and then wait two minutes to discharge the system capacitor. First, take apart the radio from the instrument panel and then unscrew the top screw by the radio of the instrument panel that locks the hazard switch against it. In order to disengage the switch mount bracket, stretch the latches backward and downward from the radio hole in the line of the sill plate. After that, press the hazard switch button past the button opening to detach the alignment pins from the ramps on the trim in the back of the instrument panel. Pull down the switch into the radio opening, then disconnect the wire harness located behind the switch from the instrument panel wire through the same opening.
