How to Install a Seat Switch on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Before putting in the switch, connect the power seat wire harness to the power seat switch connector receptacle. Then, fit the power seat switch onto the back of the shield below the outboard cushion. Make sure the alignment dowel from the switch is in its matching hole in the shield. Put both screws into the power seat switch, then tighten them to a torque of 1.5 Nm or 14 in. lbs. Put the outboard seat cushion side shield onto the seat cushion frame, secure it with two screws to 1.5 Nm (14 in. lbs.) and tighten them. Once done, mount the recliner's handle and a screw that holds it, turning both to 1.5 Nm/14 in. lbs. After that, place the power seat switch knob onto the switch control levers, push it securely until it clicks and reattach the battery negative cable.
