2007 Jeep Liberty Wiper Blade Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Wiper Blade on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: Alignment matters here; the flexible end of the wiper blade's element should face the part nearest to the motor located at the rear of the vehicle. First, remove the rear wiper arm support from the park ramp on the right side of the tailgate just under the rear glass. Press on the arm at the rear of the windshield to raise the wiper blade and element away from both. To loosen the blade, press up on the small arrow on the top side of the wiper arm. Turn the pivot block latch release tab until it's perpendicular to the wiper blade at the back of the vehicle. Pull the rear wiper blade gradually backwards away from the tip of the arm to release the pivot block from the hook on the end of the arm. Take out the hook formation from the wiper arm's tip by pulling it out of the window located in the wiper blade pivot block/latch unit. It is important to have the wiper blade in place before the wiper arm hits the tailgate or flip-up glass. Pull down the wiper arm and work the arm support into the park position.
