How is the Camshaft Position Sensor Installed on a 4.7L Engine on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Before installing the sensor, clean the hole in the cylinder head with machined surfaces. Lightly coat the O-ring of the sensor with oil, then move it into the cylinder head with a slight movement so you don't twist it. Make sure the sensor is touching the cylinder head before securing the mounting bolt; this will save the sensor mounting tang from damage. Secure the mounting screw till the torque reaches 12 Nm (106 in.lbs.) and place the electrical connector into the sensor.
