How to Safely Remove and Replace a Front Brake Caliper on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Before exchanging the front brake caliper, elevate and support the vehicle and take off the tire and wheel assembly. Do not compress the front brake caliper. Release it, un-thread the banjo bolt and take out the copper washers. After that, take out the slide pin bolts and finally you can remove the disc brake caliper from its adapter. Due to the risk of damage, the disc brake caliper should not hang from the brake hose.
