How to Service and Repair a Throttle Body on a 4.7L V-8 Engine on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Start by using a diagnostic scan tool to get any DTC's that appear before you begin the service or repair work on the throttle body. While the ignition key is not in the ON position, check the throttle body shaft for binding so DTC's aren't set. Unplug the negative wire at the battery first and afterward, remove the air duct and air resonator box from the throttle body. After that, detach the throttle body's electrical connector and remove needed vacuum pipes. Remove all four of the bolts that hold the throttle body, then disconnect the throttle body from the intake manifold. You should also inspect if the old throttle body-to-intake manifold o-ring looks healthy.
