Start by lifting and supporting the vehicle and after that, loosen and remove the wheel and tire. Unplug the brake pad wear indicator and undo the three bolts holding the caliper and bracket assembly to the
Steering Knuckle to release both. Make sure the caliper is well supported, so the brake hose does not get damaged. Then, take out the retaining bolt and pull the brake disc away from the
Wheel Hub. While installing, attach the new disc to the wheel hub, insert the retaining bolt and tighten it to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.). After reattaching the caliper and bracket assembly to the knuckle, put in the three mounting bolts and tighten them to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.). Link up the brake pad wear indicator and secure the wheel and tire back in place. Before moving the car, be sure to press the brake pedal until you feel it is firm, since this helps the caliper pistons and brake pads fit well and activate the brakes.
