2008 Chrysler Crossfire Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Safely Remove the Brake Master Cylinder Without Damaging Painted Surfaces on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: Before removing the brake master cylinder, make sure no brake fluid reaches your painted surfaces so they won't be damaged. Loosen the brake fluid level sensor's harness connector on the reservoir first. After that, disconnect the wiring of the brake master cylinder brake fluid pressure sensor. Following that, take out the brake lines from the brake master cylinder. Then, take off the nuts attaching the brake master cylinder to the booster studs, keeping the brake master cylinder level so you don't break the connection between the brake master cylinder and the brake rod. In the end, get the brake master cylinder away from the booster and remove its O-ring.
