After that, take out the bolts and caps securing the connecting rods, remove the pistons and take out the connecting rods from the engine's upper end, being careful to work on a clean, soft surface. Mixing the piston pins with the wrong pistons isn't allowed; remove the snap rings from all the pistons. Unscrew the piston pins and remove the piston from the connecting rod.
