2008 Chrysler Pacifica Door Latch Assembly Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: When installing the rear door latch, take out the screws securing the latch to the door end frame, because they have nylon patches that need to be replaced. Bring in the middle handle latch link and adjust the clip until it is pressed against the door latch. On the door end frame, set up the door latch and install every screw, tightening them to a torque of 8 Nm (75 in. lbs.). After that, add the remaining linkages to the door latch and connect the clips. If you have the wire connector, join it to the power door lock motor. Adjust the door's latch as instructed and make certain the door lock and power door lock are working as they are supposed to. Then, put the watershield and the rear door trim panel into place.
