2007 Chrysler Pacifica Door Latch Assembly Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Front Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before attaching the front door latch, change all the screws as the nylon patches on the threads have replaced them. Mark where the door latch should be and slide the cables into the opening in the watershield. Attach the cover over the latch to the inner panel retainer and screw the door latch into the side of the frame, making sure the tension is 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Set the door handle links in the door latch, bring the clips into place and join the link from the wire connector to the motor before inserting the pin into the latch. Remove and discard the silicone sheet, then put in the impact foam and tighten the attaching screws to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.) torque. Activate the door latch and power door lock, then set the watershield and front door trim panel. Finish with the latch balance procedure.
