How to Remove an Oil Pan on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before you remove the engine oil pan, cut off the negative battery cable and get rid of the engine oil level indicator tube (3). Lift the car using a hoist and remove the engine oil. After that, remove the heat shield from the right engine mount (3) and disconnect the in block heater if your truck has one. Then, remove the right engine mount structural bracket (2) at the engine and transaxle and afterwards, remove the flex plate inspection cover (1). In the last step, remove all the fasteners holding the oil pan (5) and remove the pan, together with its gasket (4).
