If two hinges on the same door are being replaced, service and repair the rear hinge by removing and installing it first and then repeat for the other hinge. First, shut the rear door and use tape to attach it to the body of the car. Swing open the front door and note the place where the hinge will go in both the frame and the lower B-pillar. Then, unfasten the B-pillar lower trim panel and next, take out the bolts that hold the hinge to the door end frame and the lower B-pillar. Lastly, take the door hinge off the vehicle.
