How to Maintain a Wiper Arm on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

First, lift the rear wiper arm so that the spring tension on its connection with the output shaft is needed. Loosen the plastic nut cap on the end of the wiper arm near the pivot and remove the nut that holds the wiper arm to the rear wiper motor assembly shaft. Do not use a battery terminal puller to remove the rear wiper arm, because it can damage the front wiper arm. End by moving the wiper ever so slightly side to side to free the rear pivot and take the wiper arm out.
