How to Correctly Install a Wiper Arm on 2009 Dodge Caliber?

To install the rear wiper arm, turn the ignition to ON and move the rear wiper switch to OFF first. Should the wiper motor output shaft start to move, stop it with the stop button and then switch the ignition back to OFF. Make sure the rear arm wiper is connected to the back wheel's motor axis when you park the car, by placing the wiper end over the motor shaft so that the wiper blade matches the bottom line on the rear window grid. After indexing the wiper arm correctly, slide the tapered mounting hole on the pivot side of the wiper arm down on top of the output shaft. Make certain the nut attaching the wiper arm to the motor shaft is tightened up to 9 Nm (7 ft. lbs.). Spray water onto the glass and use the wiper, then set the rear wiper dial to OFF and fix the wiper arm so it is in the proper spot. In the end, renew the small plastic cap back over the nut at the other end of the rear wiper arm.
