How to Service a Camshaft Position Sensor on 2008 Dodge Challenger?

At the beginning of the process, you should unhook and separate the negative battery cable from its battery. The following step is to break the electrical link at the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor. Get rid of the bolt that secures the CMP sensor. Slowly remove the CMP sensor from inside the timing chain cover using a turning motion. After that, verify the state of the sensor O-ring.
