2008 Dodge Challenger Coolant Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2008 Dodge Challenger?
A: To service Engine Coolant Temperature sensor, partially drain cooling system first. After this, you'll need to remove the accessory drive belt. Unbolt (or in some cases, disconnect) the A/C compressor from the front of the engine without disconnecting any of the A/C hoses and temporarily support the compressor to allow you to reach the ECT sensor. Remove the sensor from the cylinder block disconnecting the electrical connector from the sensor.
