How Are Front Coil Springs Installed on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

Start by setting in the lower isolator, next by placing the upper isolator. Put the shock into the top space of the coil spring and then place the upper mounting plate. Attach the shock nut wrench 9362 to the hex head at the end of the shock shaft and slide a 8 mm socket through the wrench into the hex. With the shock shaft fixed so it won't turn, tighten the nut until you measure 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.) of torque. After that, fit the shock upper mounting nut in place and loosen the spring coil. Taked off the shock assembly from the spring compressor tool and install it.
