How to Install a Harmonic Balancer Using Special Tool 8452 on 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Before installing the crankshaft harmonic balancer, thread in the forcing screw, nut and backing nut/washer (3) from Special Tool 8452 (1) and add oil to reduce friction to aid the tool. Secure the setup of the harmonic balancer by first placing it on the crankshaft and screwing Special Tool 8452 (1) in, then turning the nut until it is fully tightened. Place Special Tool 8452 back and use the harmonic balancer bolt to torque it to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). After that, put on the accessory drive belt and link the negative battery cable.
