How to Service and Repair a Dimmer Switch on 2008 Dodge Nitro?

In order to repair the combination switch, one must turn off the Supplemental Restraint System by removing the negative cable on the battery and waiting two minutes. Take off steering column shrouds, wire harness on the instrument panel and unscrew the left multi-function switch. Lastly, pull off the jumper and wipe off the switch.
