What is the Correct Method for Installing a Rocker Arm Assembly on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

Be sure the concave area of each rocker arm is over the lash adjusters to avoid serious problems when installing the assembly. Just before installing the rocker arms, cover them with clean engine oil. Turn the crankshaft to side No. 4 until cylinder No. 1 reaches the lowest point on its inhale. Crankshaft 1 should be turned until it reaches the BDC combustion stroke position. Turning the crankshaft of cylinders No. 3 and No. 5, make sure cylinder No. 1 is at TDC exhaust stroke. For cylinders No. 2 and No. 6, turn the crank until cylinder No. 1 is at the top by the ignition stroke. Press down with the Rod Arm Remover/Installer 8516A to compress the valve spring and install the rocker arm. In the last stage, place the cylinder head cover on the engine.
