2008 Jeep Commander Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace a Brake Master Cylinder on 2008 Jeep Commander?
A: It is necessary to use a brake pedal prop rod before you can remove and replace the brake master cylinder. After that, take off the reservoir cap and use a hygienic suction gun to draw out the fluid. Take off the connection between the wireless connector and the brake fluid sensor. After that, remove the fluid reservoir from the master cylinder by simply pulling it straight up. Get rid of the grommets found in the cylinder body. When required, take out the fluid level sensor from the reservoir.
