How to Remove and Replace an Intake Manifold on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Before taking out and installing the lower intake manifold, release the fuel system pressure. After that, release the coolant and take out the upper intake manifold. First, disconnect the fuel line (4) and afterward remove the ignition coil and its bracket. You should disconnect the coolant supply line, engine sensor and fuel injector wire harness after the heater assembly. Bring down the fuel injectors and rail assembly and then get rid of the radiator upper hose. Release the intake manifold bolts and lubricate the sealing surface. Be prepared, as the gasket is made of very thin material and may injure you if handled improperly. At last, remove the intake manifold seal retainers screws and the intake manifold gasket.
