How to Locate and Remove a Vapor Canister on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

The EVAP container sits next to the rear prop shaft near the car and it holds the ESIM switch. Start by elevating and holding the vehicle and afterward remove any dirt or debris present in the vacuum lines. After that, remove the electrical connector from the ESIM switch and then take off the rubber hose from the ESIM switch. Separate the connector from the EVAP canister and then remove both bolts that are located at each end of the bracket holding the canister. In the end, you separate the EVAP canister from the mounting bracket by prying the lock-tab.
