How to Install a Vapor Canister for Emission Control on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

Installation starts with adding lock tab 2 to secure the evaporative emission control canister. For the next step, install two bolts on each end of the canister mounting bracket 1. Attach electrical connector 4 to ESIM switch 2 and then put rubber hose 1 onto ESIM switch 2 as well. After that, attach fitting 3 to the EVAP canister and take the car to the ground. Check the connections between the vapor/vacuum lines and hoses and then look at the ESIM switch, filter and EVAP purge solenoid for any worry marks or leaks, since a leak can activate a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
