2009 Dodge Caliber Power Steering Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Power Steering Reservoir on 2009 Dodge Caliber?
A: The first step is to take off the engine appearance cover before service the power steering reservoir. After that, unfasten the items that secure the coolant recovery bottle and move it away from the power steering fluid reservoir. Make sure the bottle's lines are still attached. Remove as much fluid from the power steering tank as you can. After that, pull off the hose clamp attaching the cooler return hose to the fluid reservoir and slide the hose off that end. To remove the pump supply hose, undo its clamp, then pull it off the clip on the reservoir fitting. Following this, remove the reservoir by taking out the screw that ties it into the rest of the bike. Detach the small plastic shield if it's attached to the reservoir at the top.
